What makes your life with diabetes easier?

But there’s more to life with diabetes than just the meter, so our partners at Diabetes Victoria asked their members to share what they do, or a family member, friend or health professional who makes life with diabetes easier.

“I have an amazing group of health professionals that assist me with controlling my diabetes. They never fail to give me encouragement, even when I fail to keep things under control. They always have recommendations that help me and I am constantly amazed at how small changes can make such a huge difference to my health. My GP recently referred me to an endocrinologist and things have been so much on the improve since then. I still slip up at times, but the advice they have given me helps me to get back on track.
In the last 12 months my first grandchild was born. Having her to love has given me the inspiration to keep improving my health so that I can be here to see her grow up into the wonderful adult that I am sure she will become, together with what I am sure will be more wonderful grandchildren to fill my life!
